This forces the builder into bankruptcy and wastes more money on legal expenses. It also ensures that the builder will never be able to borrow money on a construction line again. This effectively eliminates the builder as a client and revenue stream and further eliminates his ability to make a living. In short, everybody loses, no one wins.
