Let Equifax Score Power Lead the Way on Your Credit Repair Journey!

by Vincent Polisi on June 28, 2009

For most people, hiring a reputable credit repair company to help them on their credit repair journey is the best way to go. The reason is that they don’t have the knowledge, patience or diligence to follow through on a systematized program.

The truth is that credit repair doesn’t happen overnight and takes a great deal of attention to detail.

Still, trusting someone else to repair your credit can be difficult. For those who aren’t ready to relinquish control or for those who think they would like to go it alone, signing up with one of the credit bureaus monthly membership programs is the way to go.

My favorite is Equifax’s Score Power. Now, this is just a personal preference that is partially due to the fact that as a young underwriter in my twenties (too long ago) I always found Equifax credit reports the easiest to read.

But it goes a little deeper than that. I personally raised my husband’s credit score by over 100 points using this service! (And got a new convertible as a reward!)

The truth is, and I’m embarrassed to admit this, I find their credit score simulator absolutely addictive. And I became a little, shall we say obsessive, over how each paid off account or removed disputed item actually affected the credit score. I can honestly say that despite credit training from some of the largest banks and finance companies in the world, nothing taught me more about credit scoring than actually digging in and working on it myself.

The Equifax service gives you access to your FICO score, a copy of all three credit reports and unlimited Equifax Credit reports. It also offers daily monitoring with customizable alerts. For the truly obsessive, you can even set up wireless alerts. (Perfect for me J)

If you think you would enjoy making a game of credit repair and would like to give it a shot, I highly recommend you try a service like this one. Get Equifax Credit Watch Gold 3-in-1 Now!
